Foxboro 760 series is a microprocessor-based single station micro PID process controller. The model 760-INA-A is a panel-mounted standalone loop controller, developed for independent single-loop process control scenarios in continuous process industry. It is widely deployed in chemical plants, thermal power stations, water treatment facilities and pulp & paper factories.
The Foxboro 760-INA-A receives standard 4-20mA analog measurement signal from field transmitters such as pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, flow and level sensor. The internal microprocessor executes high-precision PID closed-loop control algorithm. It outputs 4-20mA analog control signal to drive electric or pneumatic control valve, stabilizing process variables including temperature, pressure, liquid level and flow at user-defined setpoint.
The front panel integrates digital display screen and physical operation keys. Operators can view real-time process value and setpoint locally, tune PID proportional, integral and derivative parameters on site, modify control setpoints and acknowledge alarm triggers without connecting to upper host monitoring system. High and low limit alarm function is built inside. When process variable exceeds preset safe threshold, the controller will trigger alarm output to remind plant operators to respond timely and prevent process upset.
The controller adopts rugged industrial hardware structure and carefully screened electronic components. Internal EMI suppression circuit is built to resist electrical noise and signal interference in control room. Rear terminal block provides clear wiring terminals for analog input, analog output, power supply and digital alarm contact signals. It fits standard industry panel cutout, supporting convenient installation and direct swap replacement during maintenance work.
Foxboro 760-INA-A belongs to legacy discontinued controller, and original new production has stopped. We supply fully tested original spare parts for direct replacement. The replacement can keep the original PID control strategy unchanged, without complex program reconfiguration, helping factories restore independent control loop quickly.
