The ABB 216NG62A HESG441634R1K HESG216876 is the auxiliary DC power supply unit for ABB REG216 generator and transformer protection system. It converts wide-range station DC input into stable isolated 24VDC power for protection processor, I/O boards and signal circuits. Featuring galvanic isolation, overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection, built-in monitoring and fault alarm function, it is widely used in thermal power plants, hydropower plants and power grid substations.

ABB 216NG62A is an essential rack power module for REG216 protection system. It accepts wide DC input from plant battery bank and supplies regulated 24VDC to all internal circuit boards of the protection rack. It continuously monitors output voltage and module health status, and sends fault alarm signals once power abnormality occurs. This module adopts pluggable rack-mounted design and connects with other boards via backplane bus. Built-in hardware protection prevents damage from overload and short circuit. It works together with 216VC62a processor, 216EA62 analog input and other I/O modules to complete generator and transformer protection functions.
