The ABB SC510 3BSE003832R1 is a dual-slot submodule carrier for ABB Advant OCS / AC460 controller system, no built-in CPU. It can hold two personality submodules for I/O or communication expansion. It provides backplane interconnection and power distribution for inserted modules, supporting S100 I/O and communication boards. It adopts rack plug-in design and works as the expansion base of main controller to realize signal acquisition and data communication. Widely used in power plant, pulp & paper and chemical DCS control systems.

Content Details

SC510 acts as passive carrier rack for AC460 Advant controller. It has no processing function by itself; all control logic runs on the main CPU module. It supplies power and backplane bus connection for two pluggable submodules, expanding controller I/O capacity and communication interfaces. Built-in circuit monitoring detects module insertion status and power supply abnormality, reporting status to the main controller. Standard single-slot rack mounting structure for easy installation and on-site replacement. Rugged industrial circuit design, operating temperature 0~55°C, stable continuous operation under vibration and high EMI industrial environments. SC510 3BSE003832R1 is used for spare replacement and system retrofit of ABB Advant OCS AC460 DCS. Before shipment, each unit undergoes full functional test and thermal aging inspection to eliminate hidden defects and guarantee reliable long-term continuous operation.
