The ABB CI535V30 3BSE022162R1 is a high-performance PROFIBUS-DP communication interface module for ABB AC800M controller and 800xA DCS system. It can be configured as DP master or DP slave, supporting baud rates from 9.6 kbps up to 12 Mbps. Isolated RS485 interface provides 500V isolation between backplane and field side, suppressing surge and electromagnetic interference. It supports redundant synchronization for critical control applications and hot swap operation. It connects AC800M with remote I/O, variable speed drives and field instruments, widely used in power, chemical, oil & gas and pulp & paper industries.

Content Details

CI535V30 communicates cyclic real-time data between AC800M CPU and PROFIBUS-DP slave devices. It can connect up to 126 slave nodes per bus segment with repeaters. Each slave supports 244 bytes input and 244 bytes output data. Built-in comprehensive diagnostics monitor bus status, slave health and module faults, uploading alarm information to DCS. Configured via Control Builder M engineering software with GSD file support for third-party devices. Rack plug-in design supports online replacement without system shutdown. Rugged industrial hardware with wide operating temperature range, stable continuous operation under vibration and high EMI environments. CI535V30 3BSE022162R1 is used for spare replacement and system retrofit of ABB 800xA DCS. Before shipment, each unit undergoes full functional test and thermal aging inspection to eliminate hidden defects and guarantee reliable long-term continuous operation.
