Product Introduction

The ABB CI801 3BSE022366R1 is a PROFIBUS DP-V1 fieldbus communication interface module for ABB S800 I/O system under 800xA DCS platform. It acts as the communication gateway between AC800M controller and S800 I/O station over PROFIBUS DP bus. It provides ModuleBus supervision and isolated power supply for connected I/O modules, supports HART pass-through and hot configuration in run. Widely used in power, chemical, pulp & paper and oil & gas industrial automation.

Content Details

CI801 serves as PROFIBUS slave interface for S800 I/O cluster. It handles bidirectional real-time data transmission between controller and local I/O modules, monitors ModuleBus status and provides fused input power for I/O station. It supports HART transparent transmission for smart field instruments. LED indicators display bus communication and module operating status to assist engineers in fast fault diagnosis on site. DIN rail mounting design for cabinet installation. Industrial hardware design maintains stable performance under vibration and electromagnetic interference. This unit is spare part for S800 I/O maintenance and system upgrade. Every module passes full function test and thermal aging test before shipment.
