The ABB DSPC174 3BSE005461R1 is a high-speed DSP processor board for ABB Advant Master / Advant OCS DCS system. It executes fast closed-loop control, signal acquisition and algorithm calculation tasks. It communicates with other rack modules through ModuleBus backplane bus and works with S100 I/O and CI series communication boards. Built-in hardware self-diagnosis monitors memory, power and running status. Widely used in power plant, pulp & paper and chemical industrial process control systems.

Content Details

DSPC174 serves as dedicated signal processing unit in Advant control rack. It collects field analog and digital signals, runs high-speed control algorithms and delivers output commands to I/O modules. It exchanges real-time data with main CPU and communication submodules via backplane. Onboard diagnostic circuit continuously detects hardware faults and uploads alarm messages to DCS. Standard single-slot rack plug-in design supports convenient installation and on-site replacement. Rugged industrial PCB design, anti-vibration and anti-interference, can run continuously in high EMI control cabinet environment.
